Can I get the same saree back if I return it?
Every saree at Aananda is a single, one-of-a-kind piece — no two sarees in our collection are identical. Once a saree leaves our hands, we cannot guarantee the same piece will be available again. We encourage you to choose mindfully — we’re happy to help via WhatsApp before you order.
Can I exchange for a different saree?
Exchanges are applicable only for damaged or incorrect items. As each piece is unique and handpicked, we are unable to offer exchanges for change of mind.
Are your sarees authentic handloom?
Yes. Every saree at Aananda is either Silk Mark certified or In-House Verified — we test each batch for pure natural fibre and confirm its weaving region.

Care Guide
How to Care for Your Aananda Saree
Your handloom saree is a work of art. With the right care, it will last a lifetime and beyond.
🧴 Washing
- Silk sarees: Dry clean only, or hand wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Never wring or twist.
- Cotton & Jamdani sarees: Hand wash in cold water. Machine wash on gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
- Avoid: Bleach, harsh detergents, and hot water — these damage natural fibres and weaken the weave.
🌬️ Drying
- Always dry in shade — direct sunlight fades natural dyes.
- Lay flat or hang on a wide hanger. Never use a narrow wire hanger.
- Do not tumble dry.
🗂️ Storing
- Fold along different lines each time to prevent permanent crease marks.
- Wrap in a soft muslin cloth — never store in plastic bags, which trap moisture.
- Place a neem leaf or cedar block nearby to deter insects naturally.
- Air your sarees every 3–6 months.
🧵 Ironing
- Iron on low-medium heat on the reverse side.
- Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the saree for silk.
- Never iron embroidered or zari sections directly.
