Exchange Eligibility

We do not have a general exchange policy. Exchange is only possible in the case of a damaged product.

• As most sarees are single pieces, if an exchange is not possible, a refund will be issued instead.
• Exchange must be requested within 24 hours of delivery with full evidence.
• Item must be returned unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging.

Exchange Process

• Once your exchange is approved, we will arrange a pickup within 5–7 working days.
• If pickup is unavailable in your area, you may self-ship, and we will offer a credit note of up to ₹150 towards your shipping cost.

Processing Time

• Returned items will undergo a quality check.
• If eligible, a replacement saree will be shipped within 15 working days.
• If a replacement is not available, a refund will be initiated to the original payment method for the product and shipping charge (up to ₹150, if self-shipped).

Non-Exchangeable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following:

• Customized products
• Pre-draped sarees
• Sale items

However, in exceptional cases, exchanges or refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of management under the following conditions:

Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or the package appears tampered with:

• Do not accept the delivery.
• If accepted, immediately take a parcel opening video and clear photos of the damage.
• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags.
• Email us within 24 hours of delivery at shopify.aanandacollections@gmail.com, including:Order ID Description of the issue Photo evidence and parcel opening video
• Cancellation Policy
• Orders can only be canceled within 2 hours of placing the order, provided they haven’t already shipped.

Murshidabad silk has its roots in the historic district of Murshidabad in West Bengal, once the seat of the Nawabs of Bengal and a thriving centre of trade and culture. The silk produced here comes from mulberry silkworms (Bombyx mori) reared on mulberry trees along the banks of the Bhagirathi river — a geography that lends the silk its distinctive fineness and natural sheen. Murshidabad silk is celebrated for being among the lightest and most supple pure silks in India, with a texture so delicate it is often described as "woven air." The tradition of hand block printing on Murshidabad silk adds another layer of artistry — skilled craftsmen carve intricate wooden blocks and apply natural or azo-free dyes by hand, creating patterns that are never perfectly identical, making each saree a one-of-a-kind creation. Recognised for its premium quality, authentic Murshidabad silk carries the Silk Mark certification — India's official quality assurance for pure silk products — ensuring that what you wear is a genuine expression of Bengal's centuries-old textile heritage.
