Exchange Eligibility

We do not have a general exchange policy. Exchange is only possible in the case of a damaged product.

• As most sarees are single pieces, if an exchange is not possible, a refund will be issued instead.
• Exchange must be requested within 24 hours of delivery with full evidence.
• Item must be returned unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging.

Exchange Process

• Once your exchange is approved, we will arrange a pickup within 5–7 working days.
• If pickup is unavailable in your area, you may self-ship, and we will offer a credit note of up to ₹150 towards your shipping cost.

Processing Time

• Returned items will undergo a quality check.
• If eligible, a replacement saree will be shipped within 15 working days.
• If a replacement is not available, a refund will be initiated to the original payment method for the product and shipping charge (up to ₹150, if self-shipped).

Non-Exchangeable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following:

• Customized products
• Pre-draped sarees
• Sale items

However, in exceptional cases, exchanges or refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of management under the following conditions:

Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or the package appears tampered with:

• Do not accept the delivery.
• If accepted, immediately take a parcel opening video and clear photos of the damage.
• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags.

• Cancellation Policy
• Orders can only be canceled within 2 hours of placing the order, provided they haven’t already shipped.

Katan silk is the purest and most prized form of Banarasi silk, woven in Varanasi using tightly twisted raw silk threads ("katan" refers to the twisted yarn) that give the fabric its characteristic crisp drape, smooth surface, and enduring sheen. Unlike other silk varieties, Katan silk becomes more lustrous and supple with age, making it a treasured heirloom passed across generations. The Kalakshetra weaving style draws its inspiration from the classical arts tradition of Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai — a cultural institution dedicated to preserving Bharatanatyam and traditional Indian arts. Sarees woven in the Kalakshetra style are distinguished by their temple-inspired motifs, classical borders, and a restrained yet deeply expressive design vocabulary rooted in South Indian temple iconography. When Katan silk from Varanasi meets the Kalakshetra aesthetic, the result is a saree that carries the spiritual depth of two great Indian traditions — the sacred looms of Banaras and the classical arts of Tamil Nadu — woven into a single, extraordinary piece.
