Exchange Eligibility

We do not have a general exchange policy. Exchange is only possible in the case of a damaged product.

• As most sarees are single pieces, if an exchange is not possible, a refund will be issued instead.
• Exchange must be requested within 24 hours of delivery with full evidence.
• Item must be returned unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging.

Exchange Process

• Once your exchange is approved, we will arrange a pickup within 5–7 working days.
• If pickup is unavailable in your area, you may self-ship, and we will offer a credit note of up to ₹150 towards your shipping cost.

Processing Time

• Returned items will undergo a quality check.
• If eligible, a replacement saree will be shipped within 15 working days.
• If a replacement is not available, a refund will be initiated to the original payment method for the product and shipping charge (up to ₹150, if self-shipped).

Non-Exchangeable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following:

• Customized products
• Pre-draped sarees
• Sale items

However, in exceptional cases, exchanges or refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of management under the following conditions:

Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or the package appears tampered with:

• Do not accept the delivery.
• If accepted, immediately take a parcel opening video and clear photos of the damage.
• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags.
• Email us within 24 hours of delivery at shopify.aanandacollections@gmail.com, including:Order ID Description of the issue Photo evidence and parcel opening video
• Cancellation Policy
• Orders can only be canceled within 2 hours of placing the order, provided they haven’t already shipped.

Banarasi sarees are among the finest silk sarees in India, woven in the sacred city of Varanasi (Banaras) along the banks of the Ganges. With a history spanning over five centuries, this weaving tradition flourished under Mughal patronage, absorbing Persian motifs — intricate florals, paisleys, and kalga-bel patterns — and fusing them with the richness of Indian silk. Each Banarasi saree is handwoven on a traditional pit loom, with skilled weavers interlacing real gold or silver zari threads to create the luminous brocade work that defines this craft. A single saree can take anywhere from 15 days to 6 months to complete, depending on the complexity of the design. Recognised with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, authentic Banarasi silk is a living testament to India's most enduring textile legacy — where every thread carries the weight of history and the artistry of generations.
