White & Yellow Digital Print Crepe Silk Saree
White & Yellow Digital Print Crepe Silk Saree
Low stock: 1 left
Bright, breezy, and unlike anything else in your wardrobe — this White & Yellow Digital Print Crepe Silk Saree from Aananda's signature collection is a contemporary statement piece designed for the modern, fashion-forward woman. Light as air, vivid as sunshine, and finished with a border that catches the light like a prism.
Colour & Design: A crisp white and sunny yellow digital printed pattern flows across smooth Crepe Silk, creating a fresh, luminous canvas. The standout feature — and an exclusive Aananda design detail — is the stunning glass tube border with a rainbow iridescent effect: tiny glass tubes that shimmer and shift colour with every movement, casting a playful, prismatic sparkle that is impossible to replicate. This is a saree that turns heads in daylight and dazzles under festive lights.
Fabric: Crepe Silk — lightweight, fluid, and with a beautiful natural drape that flatters every silhouette. Its slightly textured surface gives the digital print a depth and richness that flat fabrics cannot achieve.
Blouse: Blouse piece of 33" included in the 5.5 metres.
Size: 5.5 metres (inclusive of blouse piece) | Width: 44 inches
Occasion: Parties, brunches, festive daytime events, casual celebrations, and every occasion that calls for effortless, contemporary elegance.
Styling Note: The rainbow glass tube border pairs beautifully with minimal jewellery — let the border do the talking. A sleeveless or halter-neck blouse in white or yellow will keep the look fresh and modern.
Wash Care: Gentle machine wash or hand wash in cold water. Do not wring. Dry in shade.
Pre-stitching: Available at an additional cost of ₹1,700. Please provide your waist, hip, and desired saree length measurements.
Note: Colour may slightly vary from images due to photographic lighting and monitor settings.

Crepe Silk is a fabric celebrated for its distinctive crinkled, slightly textured surface — achieved through a special weaving technique where the warp and weft threads are twisted in alternating directions before weaving, creating a fabric with a natural elasticity, fluid drape, and a matte-to-subtle-sheen finish. Unlike smooth silks such as Katan or satin, Crepe Silk has a tactile depth that gives printed designs a richness and dimensionality that flat fabrics cannot achieve. Lightweight and breathable, it drapes beautifully across the body and is particularly well-suited to contemporary saree designs that prioritise comfort and movement. Digital printing on silk has transformed the possibilities of textile design — allowing artists and designers to translate complex, multi-tonal artwork directly onto fabric with a precision and colour depth that traditional block printing or screen printing cannot achieve. The white and yellow palette of this saree, rendered through digital printing, achieves a freshness and clarity that feels both modern and timeless. The glass tube border is the most distinctive element of this saree — an innovative design technique where tiny glass tubes are applied along the border to create an iridescent, rainbow-effect shimmer. Glass tube embellishment draws on a long tradition of using reflective and translucent materials in Indian textile ornamentation — from mirror work (shisha) in Kutchi embroidery to sequins and beads in festive sarees — but reimagines it in a thoroughly contemporary form. The prismatic quality of glass tubes means that the border appears to change colour as the light shifts, creating a living, dynamic border that is uniquely Aananda's own design signature.
